What to expect.

For New Patients

Chiropractic

First Visit - 1 hour
Bring x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, reports and a list of any current medications.

Nutrition

First visit - 1-1/2 hours, includes exam, paperwork and assessment.
Bring diet sheet listing at least 3 days of meals and a list of any current medications or supplements.

Your First Chiropractic Visit

By coming to our office, you are taking a first exciting step toward better health. Chiropractic care is different. It offers new ways to get well and stay well. You'll meet the doctor after filling out some brief paperwork describing you, your health history and goals. We offer this initial consultation so we can both get to know one another.

Then we will give you a thorough examination to study the way you move and bend, helping us locate area of your spine that could be the cause of your problem. We'll study the results and give you a complete report of our findings along with a recommended program of treatment. With a plan in place, future visits will take just minutes. The purpose of these visits will be to locate and reduce your vertebral subluxations and monitor the healing process.

X-rays can be helpful to confirm our findings and make your care more precise. After completing the exam, we will tell you if they are needed.

You may wonder how long it will take until you feel better. Some patients feel almost instant relief and others may take more time. Every patient recovers at his or her own pace. Factors which can affect the healing process include your age, your overall health condition, muscle tone and diet. It is important to follow your recommended treatment plan to give your body the help it needs to get well and stay well!

Insurance Benefits

Dr. Phillip Marty is an in-network insurance provider accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medica, Healthpartners, Preferred One, Cigna, Patient Choice, UCare, Medicare and others. It is important for you to know that even if you are covered by medical or accident insurance, our services are offered on the understanding that you are financially responsible for the total amount of your account. Most insurance coverage is designed to pay only a portion of the costs of your treatment. We encourage you to be fully aware of the provisions of your insurance policies and their limitations.

Our door is open to all patients regardless of insurance coverage. We are also able to treat most patients carrying coverage through many different plans, although in some instances your benefit may be affected. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card if you have any questions regarding your benefits with our office.

Dr. Marty is always pleased to submit a claim to your insurance carrier for your treatments. We request that you provide us with the correct and/or updated insurance information so that we may submit your claim properly.
